Book Two of the Hope Chest series begins with the Great War and its effects on Dr. Andrew McCurdy’s family in Prescott, Arizona.  Jeremy enlists in the Canadian Army and deploys to France, while Abigail and Robbie go to New York City, where she pursues the suffrage movement and he starts medical school.  Amy sees her dream of Hope House blossom as it ministers to former prostitutes of the frontier town.  Interspersed with their daily lives is Amy’s Hope Chest, which continues to provide tangible links to the future.
